Pioneering is easy when we’re young and courageous (or foolish), and settling becomes easier and safer (or stagnant) the older we get.

May we all, like Father Abraham of old, be willing to blaze new paths despite our age (whatever it may be).

Lord, push us from our settledness, and while others may see us as reckless, may we feel your smile upon our faithfulness.
