From Deacon to Priest

This coming October in Kansas, Lord willing, Myra will take the next step on her journey in Holy Orders, as our bishop, Quintin Moore, ordains her a presbyter (i.e., priest) in Christ’s one holy catholic and apostolic Church through the laying on of hands.

As her husband and a priest, I couldn’t be more proud of her. Myra is, without a doubt, an indomitable, Spirit-led apprentice of Jesus. It has been a blessing to watch her discern, wrestle, and ultimately embrace the call of God with courage and humility.

I’m grateful to be her partner in this life and thoroughly excited for her as she continues to step into His plans and purposes for her.

Join me in celebrating the beautiful work the Lord is doing in her, and please keep her in your prayers throughout this month.
